AIG has reshuffled its US management structure in the light of investigations into its accounting practices
David Herzog, formerly chief financial officer for global life insurance operations, will become AIG's comptroller. He replaces Michael Castelli, who left last April after regulators accused the firm of improper accounting.
Robert Gender, the assistant treasurer, has been promoted to treasurer and will report to Steven Bensinger, chief financial officer.
