Alexander Forbes has appointed Graham Barden as managing director of its aviation unit.
Barden's appointment follows the retirement of John Bassett earlier this year.
Alexander Forbes chairman and chief executive John Percy-Davis said: "Graham's extensive international experience will be of enormous value to us and will ensure a smooth transition of management following John Bassett's retirement."
Barden will bring 10 aviation specialists to Alexander Forbes.
