In a bid to attract new talent to the insurance industry Allianz Cornhill has produced a media information pack aimed at consumer press.
‘The Insurance Industry – A Great Place To Work' gives an outline of the British insurance industry and the Chartered Insurance Institute's (CII) talent task force, which is headed by Allianz Cornhill commercial general manager, Chris Hanks.
It is designed to provide a taste of the career opportunities offered by the industry.
The brochure gives information about the training offered to Allianz Cornhill employees within the company's excellence in claims and underwriting academy scheme, and case studies of graduates who decided to join the industry.
The company is backing the new CII industry careers initiative, which will be launched at the UK insurance and financial services conference in October.
The programme has been drawn up under the guidance of the companies supporting the CII talent taskforce. It will challenge perceptions, provide information and stimulate interest, according to Allianz Cornhill.
