Allianz Cornhill Personal (ACP) has hit the £2m mark in just over a year after taking on their 250th small broker since working on a New Agent project.
ACP took on 185 brokers last year and is looking to appoint a further 150 this year.
Alan Beech, senior agency coordinator for ACP said: "Independent intermediaries continue to flourish in the personal lines market alongside other players.
This continues to be an important sector in our growth strategy.
"We saw this as a good opportunity to develop business with partners who could continue to provide support levels. We are committed to supporting smaller brokers in this competitive trading market."
Mark Abbot of Cheam Insurance said: "We have found the Allianz brand easy to sell to our customers who have been happy with the standard of claims service provided. The approved repairer network is also very good."
