Allianz Commercial has new offering for aviation cover
Allianz Commercial is to begin offering aviation insurance after teaming up with fellow Allianz SE Group member, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS).
The new aviation products liability offering will be underwritten by the specialist aviation underwriting team at AGCS.
Allianz said it is a specialist cover that it normally only available from aviation insurers in the London market and typically as a stand-alone insurance policy.
The offering will be made available to all brokers through Allianz Commercial’s regional branch network.
Allianz Commercial's head of property and casualty, Steve Coates, said: "This move is another significant step in the ongoing development of our casualty proposition.
"As a result of this tie-up, for the first time regional brokers will have access to this specialist cover and the ability to combine it with clients' other commercial insurance products into one policy."
Craig Armitage, aviation underwriting manager at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, said: “This development reflects the strength and expertise that Allianz possesses in the UK market."
