As a result of its claims review, Allianz Cornhill is to establish specialist claims teams.
It will consolidate its claims handling operations from12 offices to seven, and create a range of specialist claims handling teams, in areas such as motor, casualty, commercial property, motor personal injury, disease and technical claims.
Chief executive of Allianz Cornhill, Andrew Torrance said that the 82 staff who will be effected by the changes will be offered the opportunity to relocate or move to a new role.
The offices which will no longer handle claims are Chelmsford, Luton, Maidstone, Nottingham and Southampton.
