Allianz Insurance will restructure its motor repair supplier network.
The insurer will consolidate its supplier network into nine regional repairer groups, backed by a national repairer group.
An Allianz spokesman said the insurer now needed fewer subcontractors, but no redundancies would be made at Allianz.
Allianz motor supply chain controller Jane Riley said: “We are very confident that our new approach will provide our customer base with a one-stop shop for all repairs, giving excellent service."
The new model would halve the repair cycle time, she added.
