Allianz Cornhill is eying further expansion in India as its initial pilots come to an end. Chief executive Andrew Torrance said the insurer was set to increase the 100 staff currently in India to 400 by the end of 2005.
He said each of its initial "seed projects" was producing "very encouraging results".
The results will be considered at the end of September when the next phase of expansion will begin.
