The TT Club has received a double boost with A M Best maintaining its B+ rating and lifting its negative outlook.

The ratings agency reviewed its performance in light of improved performance since May this year when the Club reported its 2001 loss.

Best said that the TT Club had benefited from the re-building of free reserves and strict new policy rules for renewing business.

Paul Neagle, CEO of TT commented, "We are extremely pleased to see this formal acknowledgement of our rigorous planning processes and business management.

"The AM Best interactive rating is important to the Club because it represents an independent assessment of the Club's continued financial strength, operating performance and market profile."
