A.M.Best have refused to respond to SCOR's criticism of their downgrading.

Jose Sanchez-Crespo, general manager of A.M.Best's analytical team, said: "We do not respond to those criticisms.

He added the downgrading was evidence of the group's opinion on the matter, but SCOR were entitled to disagree.
