The Accident Management Association has established a technical committee to help members come to terms with the ABI's credit hire and repair protocol.
The AMA says it will help claims and legal issues connected with their accident management business.
AMA director general Tony Baker said: "With the significant expansion this year in AMA membership there has also been a big increase in requests for help in interpreting the ABI credit hire protocol, providing guidance to refer enquiries back to insurers and assisting with legal and claims issues."
