Amlin's Lloyds Syndicate 2001 has acquired the renewal rights for approximately £5m of the trade credit insurance portfolio of Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA).
The acquisition will be effective from 1 December 2003.
Amlin will not acquire any net assets or assume any liability for any previous business written by R&SA.
Chris Ventiroso, managing director of Amlin Credit, said the acquisition demonstrated the company's commitment to trade credit insurance.
