Amlin PLC said it has received valid acceptances in respect
of 28,640,430 new shares, representing 60% of its placing and open offer of 52,023,864 new Amlin shares at 81p each.
The open offer was announced on 11 June and closed at 3pm yesterday. It was accompanied by a firm placing of 52,023,864 new Amlin shares.
