Lloyd's insurer Amlin has conditionally agreed to raise £230m of long term subordinated debt.
The debt will be raised through the issue of fixed/floating rate subordinated notes due 2026, which qualifies as lower tier two regulatory capital.
Amlin said it will use the funds to fully refinance existing letters of credit and partially refinance term loans.
