Aon has announced that its internal document management system now allows for documentation to be automatically delivered to August's document repository.
Business process management software provider August claims the development removes the need to separately upload it onto the internet.
Bill Oram, operations director at Aon said: "A key aim of the London Market Principles is the reduction in the time it takes the London insurance market to pay a claim.
"The seamless and automatic transferral of documentation between ourselves and the Advance repository is a significant development and will undoubtedly bring new efficiencies to the claims process, ultimately delivering a much improved service to our clients."
