London General Holdings, Aon Warranty Group and Aon Warranty Services have been found to have unlawfully infringed copyright and confidentiality obligations by Judge Weeks QC.
The judgement found they had infringed the claimant's (USP Strategies and Unicorn Strategies) copyright, in unlawfully copying a scheme document.
In addition the disclosure of the document was found to be in breach of confidence.
Judge Weeks QC said of the breach of copyright: "LGH wrongly appropriated the labour and skill of Cooper Chan and so infringed the copyright of Unicorn which has been assigned to USP."
