Aon Isle of Man strengthens board with Ann Collins appointment

Aon (Isle of Man) Limited has appointed Ann Collins to its board.

Bringing over 30 years insurance broking experience to the role, the new director will be responsible for the day to day operations of the business.

Ann has been at Aon for four years and will continue her duties as head of client service and operations, working with clients across the Isle of Man’s buoyant manufacturing, retail, finance and e-commerce sectors. Prior to this, Ann owned an insurance brokerage in Cheshire.

Ann is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and education secretary for the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man.

Mike Henthorn, managing director of Aon Group in the Isle of Man, said: “Ann is a true insurance professional who has made a real difference in her role as head of client service and operations. She is held in high regard by our clients and I am delighted to welcome her to the board. I have no doubt that she will continue to play a crucial role in developing our ever-expanding business in the Isle of Man.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
