Aon is set to announce a deal to outsource its entire back office Client Operations division, according to reports.
Reports said the deal, worth more than £230m, could eventually provide the framework for a new London market broker process platform.
Xchanging, the business process outsourcing firm, in conjunction with Cambridge Solutions has signed a ten-year deal to manage Aon's London market claims administration and processing, together with accounting and settlement.
One of the key tenets of the proposal is to create a platform that could be utilised by competing London market brokers who are also willing to outsource their process function.
