The FSA has instructed the UK arm of Marsh & McLennan to improve its corporate governance by appointing a non-executive director to its board, reports said today.
The move comes after the company made public the results of an internal investigation yesterday.
Reports said Marsh chief executive Bruce Carnegie-Brown had agreed to make a non-executive addition to its British board.
