Dublin-based underwriting agency ARB is moving into the UK market and has set up new offices in Southampton.

The agency will offer brokers and intermediaries facilities to place a wide range of personal lines and commercial risks. It will cover commercial combined, commercial vehicles, offices, household, travel, shops, PA and sickness, fleets, non standard motor and professional indemnity.

Ex-Folgate business development executive Peter Smith is to manage the team, including another ex-Folgate man, senior underwriter Graham MacFadyen.
