Arc Legal Assistance (Arc) and AXA Assistance are to provide legal assistance services for Folgate's new mid-net worth insurance product, Connoisseur.
Arc, which was launched in April this year, will provide legal costs insurance. It said specifically tailored areas of cover would include costs incurred in the defence of a claim arising from the sale or purchase of a customer's home, as well as the pursuit of claims under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Arc said a legal and tax advice phone service would also be available to Connoisseur customers.
AXA Assistance will provide have emergency property assistance through the insurance product, said Arc. This will include certain costs relating to property damage, plumbing, heating, gas and electrical emergencies and vermin removal.
