Paul Dooley has resigned from his position as regional manager at commercial underwriting agency Arista Insurance.
Dooley, who headed up the North of England and Scotland regions, is on gardening leave
He has been tipped to join Aspen Insurance.
Dooley spent four years at Arista and was previously Manchester branch manager at Chubb.
