Art and antiques insurance company, AXA Nordstern Art, has changed its name to AXA Art Insurance.
UK chief executive Adam Golder said the name provided a stronger platform on which to build on the successes already enjoyed by AXA Nordstern Art.
"Ours is a specialist team who have forged long-term relations with both brokers and clients, based on an understanding of collectors' needs", he said.
AXA Art Insurance has nine subsidiaries throughout the world. It employs 150 people, of which 50 are art historians.
The group insures art to the value of euro 31bn (£19.21bn).
