Price increases of 300-500% are being levied on Asian energy risks, according to a survey by Lloyd's of London.

Risk managers working for energy companies active in Asia expect that insurance prices will be the central issue in their jobs for the next two years, the survey added.

The energy market is regarded as the most volatile of the insurance markets. The Asian markets suffer worse than others because of economic instability in the region, according to Julian James, Lloyd's head of worldwide markets.
