Mark Orton appointed to new role

Aspray has appointed Mark Orton to the recently created position of head of business and communications in a move to raise its profile within the insurance industry.

Aspray, an international insurance claims management company, deals primarily with project managing building insurance claims, tenanted property refurbishments and general building services..

Managing Director, James Whittle, said: “Mark’s enthusiasm and vision for the company is a breath of fresh air and I’m convinced he is the right person to develop what will be a very public role on behalf of Aspray.

"With his former involvement as an Aspray franchisee for Leicester, and a private landlord to over 160 tenants in the UK, Mark will be able to draw on his experience and is expected to provide informed, independent and objective input to the strategic development and marketing of Aspray.”

Orton's initial remit will be to identify areas where Aspray can make a significant and more high profile contribution to the insurance sector.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
