Claims solutions provider Audatex has joined forces with software house ClaimWatch to launch a system, which enables bodyshops to communicate repair data to motorists.
The web-based system enables bodyshops, fleet operators and insurers to reduce the number of customer enquiries by sending pre-programmed messages.
Audatex claims the system streamlines communications and provides greater transparency of the repair process.
Audatex commercial director Ian Anderson said: "With this system, even the smallest bodyshop can provide levels of customer service usually associated with the largest organisations.
"Today's consumers expect to get up-to-the-minute information at the touch of a button - AudaTrack gives repairers the technology to deliver it in an efficient and user-friendly form."
