Staff at Agency Underwriting Limited (AUL), in Colchester, are proudly wearing the company's logo on its new range of work clothes.

The specialist schemes insurer has introduced a range of casual clothing, which includes polo shirts and sweat shirts, all of which are embroidered with the "AUL" logo.

The move is intended to underline the company's commitment to staff welfare, and the clothes were introduced in an effort to ensure that staff felt more comfortable in the office. "The insurance industry is sometimes slow to change," said managing director Richard Lamberth, "And we are pleased to be pioneering this move towards smart, comfortable, modern clothing."

Staff at the company were also issued with baseball caps – however they were relieved to find they are not expected to be worn in the office.

The baseball caps have been designed to be given away as part of the company's advertising policy, such as at trade shows.
