An award has been launched to recognise the achievements of young insurance brokers in the UK.
The award, sponsored by the Sheikh Abdullah Foundation, is worth £2,500. Judges are looking for a "rising star" who has made an outstanding contribution to the benefit of their company.
Any broker under the age of 30 on 31 May 2003, and whose company is a member of Biba, can apply.
Richard Sheikh, founder of the Sheikh Abdullah Foundation, said: "Seeing young people make specific achievements in broking is something that is close to my heart."
Sheikh, who is chief executive of Camberford Law, added: "That is why I have personally launched this award and I aim to see it gain momentum and profile year after year."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
