AXA has chosen Cunningham Lindsey, GAB Robins and Crawfords as its long-term partners in its loss adjusting panel, following an intensive review of the panel.

AXA said it had negotiated solus arrangements on each of its main classes of business.

With effect from 8 January 2004, Cunningham Lindsey will have responsibility for liability, GAB Robins will have responsibility from commercial property, and Crawfords will have responsibility for household, said AXA.

The new arrangements will run for a minimum of two years, with options to extend the arrangements beyond this.

AXA head of claims, David Williams, said: "The loss adjusters were chosen because of their fit with the AXA business.

"The review focused on the overall technical and commercial capabilities of adjusters, as well as their long-term strategic intentions."
