AXA Assistance Group has set up a centre of excellence in Munich for AXA Assistance UK and AXA Assistance Germany.
It will manage their combined tour operator travel assistance activity.
The centre is staffed by a team of English -peaking experts and supported by a number of other AXA Assistance alarm centres around the world.
The alarm centres involved in this initiative include Barcelona, Athens, Sydney, Chicago and Mauritius with Munich as the controlling centre. The centre also includes an international payment centre for service providers.
AXA Assistance in the UK will continue to manage its corporate travel business from Redhill.
