Axa Group's chief financial officer Gerard de la Martiniere is to quit his post.
The resignation follows his election as head of the French Federation of Insurance Companies (FFSA).
Deputy CFO Denis Duverne, who joined the group's management board in February, will take over de la Martiniere's duties.
