Finance union Unifi has called off today's planned demonstration at the Bristol Headquarters of Axa.
The demonstration was called off after the company agreed to open discussions over its plans to increase the retirement age of employees to 65.
Staff were also concerned over the French insurer's plan to increase employees' contributions into the group pension scheme.
Hundreds of workers were set to demonstrate outside their Stoke Gifford headquarters between 12.30pm and 1.30pm today.
