AXA has won a deal to supply household and creditor insurance to Scotland's leading building society, the Dunfermline.

The deal, which begins in March 2003, means AXA will underwrite the society's household and mortgage payment protection policies.

Director of corporate partnerships Lee Gladwell said: "This is a demonstration not only of our on-going commitment to the Corporate Partnership programme, but in particular to the financial services sector.

"This partnership underpins our credentials within the building society sector and allows us to develop an important strategic alliance within Scotland."
