The Bahrain Monetary Agency (BMA) is to introduce anti-money laundering (AML) regulations for Bahrain's insurance companies and capital market players.
The BMA also said it was upgrading AML regulations for the banking sector.
It said the move would reinforce Bahrain's reputation as an international finance centre of excellence, as well as the BMA's status as a highly regarded regulator.
