Specialist Lloyd's insurer Beazley has increased the 2002 underwriting capacity on Syndicate 623 to over £350m.
The company, which focuses on specialist risk business in selected marine and non-marine markets, said it was now well placed to take advantage of the current opportunities in the insurance market.
It added that the £100m increase confirmed capital providers' confidence in its business and enhanced its ability to build long-term relationships with brokers and clients.
Beazley's business includes commercial property, retail and personal lines, reinsurance and specialty products.
