Regional broker, The Beckett Group, is expected this afternoon to announce that it will drop its bespoke commercial and personal lines system created by Acturis.

The Beckett Group was testing two systems. One was created
by Acturis and the other by insurance systems specialist Sirius.

It has now decided not to go with the Acturis system.

Acturis sales and marketing director Simon Ronaldson said: "We have worked a lot with The Beckett Group and thank them for their support. Sadly the system we have been developing with them will not be used.

"We hope to continue to have dialogue with them for future opportunities."

Speculation is that the broker will instead commit itself to a Sirius system, to provide all its system requirements.
