Damage management specialist Belfor has been appointed as one of Capita Insurance Services' preferred contractors.
Under the deal fire, flood and accidental damage claims will be handled by Belfor.
Belfor's commercial director, Neal Courtney said: "Our excellent relationship with Capita Insurance Services is demonstrated by the way we worked together to provide an innovative solution to recover the flood damaged costumes belonging to Welsh National Opera.
"For this we won 'The Most Effective Recovery of the Year' at the Business Continuity Awards and were finalists for 'Best Service Provider' at the British Insurance Awards."
