Broker Benfield Group has been valued at £650m as it prepares to list on the London stock market, according to reports.

According to Reuters, sources involved in the offer said the shares would be priced at between 230p and 260p, which would value the company between £575m and £650m.

Benfield plans to raise £100m through a listing on the main London market. The flotation could be the largest new listing in the London market since bookmaker William Hill's listing last June.

Benfield is expected to announce the share pricing early Friday after the offer closes on Thursday.
