Shares in reinsurance broker Benfield Group soared from 250 pence to 298 pence this morning as its stock went live on the London Stock Exchange.
The initial public offering (IPO) raised £157m. Benfield plans to use £98.8m to repay existing debts.
The stock was trading at 276.50 pence at 10am.
