Hurricane Florence has now reached category two status as it continues on course for Bermuda, with landfall expected in the next nine to ten hours.
However, current forecasts suggest that the eye of the storm will not pass directly over the island as originally predicted, meaning that windspeeds on land should not exceed category one strength (65-95mph).
