The original girl power trio, the Beverley Sisters, delivered a fun day out to hundreds of housebound people for BUPA's Senior Volunteer Action Week at the Millennium Dome.
The Beverleys were thought appropriate role models for older housebound people since they had their first hits in the 1950s.
The event was part of the BBC's Stepping Out campaign, of encouraging older people to leave their homes and join in a community activity.
