GAB Robins has launched its national broker service at the BIBA conference.

Last July the loss adjusters started an initiative called Broker One Stop Service (BOSS). Under the project 80 broker managers aimed to build relationships with 500 brokers, providing one single point of contact. When BOSS ended at the end of last year, it had identified 450 intermediaries.

Now GAB Robins has launched BOSS 2002 to the market. It hopes to inform national and provincial brokers of its other services, which include claims handling and building repairs.

National account director Mark Pierce said: "BOSS 2002 now offers our whole range of ancillary services. GAB Robins are not just loss adjusters and the scope of our services is comprehensive."

He said the company's business database showed it had activity with 2,000 brokers and broker managers. BOSS 2002 will now run for an "indefinite period" aiming to build relationships with the remaining 1,550 intermediaries.

"It is a big audience to exhaust," said Pierce.
