Broker Bland Bankart has introduced an MBA staff sponsorship scheme.
The company says it has done this following a review of its training and development procedures - and hopes it will ensure it continues to attract the best employees.
The company also thinks the MBA scheme will help staff advise clients as it will increase their understanding of business dynamics.
Company spokeswoman Sally Swann said: "The objective of sponsoring ambitious and forward-thinking staff through an MBA course is to give them a structured education in the wider facets of running a business.
"We hope this will benefit the individual in terms of personal development and help us to grow and develop our business with a quality team."
One member of staff will be sponsored each year on the four year MBA programme at The University of Nottingham.
