David Miller to build grow schemes in Scotland

Bluefin Insurance has appointed David Miller as director of Bluefin Sport for Scotland.

Miller joins from Giles Insurance Brokers where he was responsible for its golf and leisure sector schemes.

At Bluefin he will be based in Edinburgh and report to Bluefin Sport managing director Steve McGuinness.

Miller said: “It is a very exciting time to join the business as there is the potential for significant growth in Scotland. I look forward to working with the team to further raise our profile as a leading national specialist in the sports insurance market.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
