The Bollington Group is in talks to acquire FM Green.
The two companies have signed heads of agreement, and the due diligence process is underway.
Paul Moors, chairman of Bollington, said: “We've known [FM Green chairman] Ian Richens and his team for some time, and feel that FM Green's products and services would fit very well with our own.
“There would clearly be benefits for our two organisations, and importantly our clients, by coming together.”
