Bond Pearce, Bristol's fastest growing law firm, takes a lease on 4,400 sq ft of extra office space to accommodate the company's expanding insurance division.
Bond Pearce, Bristol's fastest growing law firm, has taken a lease on 4,400 sq ft of extra office space next to its existing Bristol Bridge House premises. This is accommodate the company's expanding insurance division.
The Bristol insurance team boasts 28 fee earners and support staff, and is on course to turn over more than £1.5 million this financial year. It started off with just one partner, two assistants and two secretaries in 1998.
Most recently, the Bond Pearce Bristol liability claims department succeeded in becoming one of only three firms appointed nationwide do deal with all litigated and pre-litigation defendant personal injury claims for Mitsui Sumitomo, Japan's largest insurer.
The Bristol insurance team has recently completed the move to Bull Wharf, having outgrown the entire first floor of neighbouring Bristol Bridge House, where Bond Pearce now employs a total of 200 staff having first established an office in Bristol in 1998.
Head of liability insurance at Bond Pearce Ian Martyn said: "Our Bristol insurance division has seen incredible growth in recent years and we simply outgrew our other office.
"The move to Bull Wharf gives us more room and will enable us to expand both our liability and professional indemnity teams in the coming year, when we will see significant recruitment."
Bond Pearce's firm-wide insurance division includes more than 50 legal specialists, including 12 partners. Last November, the firm officially opened a dedicated insurance office in the heart of the City of London.
