Stewart Boyd QC has been reappointed as a non-executive director of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for a further term of three years, Gordon Brown announced today.
He will continue as deputy chairman of the board, and as chairman of its non-executive committee.
Gordon Brown said: "At a time when the FSA has taken on new regulatory powers Mr Boyd's extensive legal experience has been very valuable.
"He has played an important role as head of the non-executive directors and provided a balance between the practitioner and consumer representatives on the board," he added.
