Brit Insurance has announced the appointment of Joseph Patrick MacHale as a non-executive director with effect from 9 November 2005. He will be joining Brit's remuneration committee.
Joe MacHale held a number of senior executive positions with J P Morgan between 1979 and 2001 and was most recently chief executive of J P Morgan Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.
MacHale is currently a non-executive director and member of the audit committee of Royal Bank of Scotland Group P.
