Brit has selected Cunning-ham Lindsey and Crawford & Co as its main loss adjusters as part of a review of its recommended service providers.

The insurer has set up service provider panels relating to different classes of business including: professional indemnity; employers' liability; property; and casualty.

Brit will use smaller loss adjusters in some instances, but Cunningham Lindsey and Crawford & Co figure most prominently on the panels.

As part of the review, Brit has also selected a number of law firms as preferred service providers.

Beachcroft Wansbroughs and Reynolds Porter Chamberlain will be Brit's main solicitors, but Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw and CMS Cameron McKenna will be among the insurer's preferred providers.

A Brit spokesman said the review also defined who at Brit deals with loss adjusters and solicitors at each stage of a claim.
