Subprime liabilities not going to be as bad as expected
Brit Insurance’s share price rose 2.6% to 185¾p after UBS upgraded to “buy” saying its subprime liabilities looked overdone, the FT reports.
Legal & General rose 2.6% to 79¼p on a revival of rumours of a takeover by Resolution.
